Rehab Equipment Technician – Georgia

Seeking a skilled, self-motivated and reliable Rehab Equipment Technician for our Georgia region.

Scope: The Rehab Equipment Technician delivers and assembles complex rehab equipment as well as durable medical equipment for workers’ compensation patients. The individual educates injured workers and their caretakers on the use and maintenance of equipment. The technician is responsible for diagnosing issues and completing routine and complex repairs in the field.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience as a durable medical equipment technician
• Experience working with complex rehab equipment a plus
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Highly organized & self-motivated
• Able to work independently
• Strong communication skills (verbally and in writing)
• Ability to develop, organize and coordinate paperwork
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Able to work well with a wide range of people, including referral sources, service agencies, injured workers, colleagues, and management.
• Understanding of workers’ compensation requirements and procedures a plus

Works out of the Newnan, Georgia office. (Atlanta area.)
